On duty with bodycams
We deployed our anonymization, object detection and classification algorithms on bodycams to demonstrate our capabilities in pose tracking of pedestrians, allowing for diverse applications in the security domain.
In the air with GAIA-X
As part of Gaia-X for Future Mobility, we led a project providing real-time visual intelligence via drones to the fire brigade on their way to the emergency site.


In public spaces with 5-SAFE
Designed and developed in collaboration with T-Systems, Landshut University of Applied Science, and the City of Landshut, and backed by Germany’s BMDV.
The 5-SAFE system utilizes 5G-enabled sensors and dynamic, adaptive traffic signage to proactively monitor pedestrian and vehicular activity, triggering alerts when it detects genuine risks in critical school zones.
On the road in Hamburg
In partnership with the City of Hamburg, we are transforming urban mobility with AI-powered road condition monitoring. Our computer vision tech captures real-time insights directly from fleet vehicles, turning everyday routes into dynamic data streams.
The result? Faster detection of potholes, road wear, and infrastructure issues that cities can act on before they escalate. Hamburg is just the start.

Privacy is our priority
Video data contains personal information such as faces and license plates. Peregrine’s technology automatically anonymizes information at petabyte scale before storing traffic scenes. This differentiates our technology from common dash cams or other video solutions.

In early 2023, we hired the first Ph.D. student conducting cutting-edge research at the intersection of AI and sustainability as part of a joint program between HPI and Peregrine.

We have successfully conducted joint research on Self-Supervised Contrastive Learning in Traffic Scenes, experimenting with new approaches for Instance Segmentation using unique data provided by Peregrine.
Professor Cyrill Stachniss

We worked with Peregrine and Seagate to experiment with real-time data logging and Peregrine's smart data campaigning system for real-time data annotation using our self-driving vehicle “MadeInGermany”.
